Lois Woodall Miller

Lois (Woodall) Miller, 93, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Redbanks Colonial Terrace under the compassionate care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was of Baptist faith and attended Country View General Baptist Church.

Born in Crayne, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Lessly and Alma (Belt) Woodall.

She dedicated years of service to the state of Kentucky before retiring, and she was also a longtime member of the Eastern Star 555. Lois will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her dedication to her community, and the love she shared with her neighbors and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilburt, Hilda Mae, and Louise.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter, Karen Welch (Mark) of Murray; nephews and a niece; and her caregiver and friend, Linda Matthews.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Randy Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Crayne Cemetery in Crayne. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the funeral home.

Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson, is in charge of arrangements.

Ronnie Keyes Wilson

Mr. Ronnie Keyes Wilson, 77, of Saint Louis Park, MN, formerly of Murray, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Methodist Hospital in Saint Louis Park, MN.

Ronnie was born on November 28, 1946 in Wyandotte, MI to the late JB and Almeda Wilson. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Delores Jean Roach.

Left to cherish his memory is a son, Austin Murray Nelson Wilson; a sister, Shirley Watson; two grandsons, Jack Ashley Wilson and Charlie Jean-Luc Wilson.

A graveside service with military honors is set for 11 am on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Old Salem Cemetery.

Delmer Wayne Jones

Delmer Wayne Jones, 76, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray.

He was born July 7, 1947, in Marshall County, Kentucky, to Willard Jones and Dora Travis Jones.

He worked as an automotive body man and was a groundskeeper at Kenlake State Park. In addition, he was a member of the New Jenny Ridge Pentecostal Church where he took care of the grounds and served as a trustee and deacon since 1980.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert Jones and Alton Jones; and two sisters, Izetta Eldridge and Anna Laverne.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Shirley Brown Jones; whom he married Dec. 19, 1967, in Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Shawn Hudspeth and husband Loyd of Golo and Shelly Jones and fiancé Daniel Horton of Murray; three sisters, Brenda Joyce and husband Achey of Mesquite, Texas, Loretta McDermott of Benton and Cathy Steward and husband Jocy of Benton; one brother, Ned Jones of Hazel; four grandchildren, Chad Herrington and wife Cheyenne of Murray, Layne Spiker and wife Ashley of Benton, Emily Stout of Murray and Madisyn Spiker of Murray; and six great-grandchildren, Bentley T. Spiker and Kaci Spiker, both of Benton, Levi Herrington and Paisley Herrington, both of Murray and Brantley Winchester and Levi Moss, both of Benton.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at New Jenny Ridge Pentecostal Church Cemetery with Robert Brown and Anna Pinnegar officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
